Platt Lane Sports Complex is Manchester Metropolitan University's sports facility in Fallowfield, open to students, staff and the local community. The complex offers a fully equipped gym with free weights, cardio machines and a stretching zone, a spin studio, personal training, weekly fitness classes (free for members), and a sports hall for badminton and other activities.

Outdoors there are 3G rugby and football pitches in 7-a-side, 9-a-side and 11-a-side formats with floodlighting. The site is home to several sports clubs including football, rugby union, rugby league and American football, and also hosts kids' football sessions run by Manchester United Foundation every Tuesday.
