Salsa Buena - Horse & Groom

Salsa Buena is Cardiff and Cowbridge's most welcoming Latin dance school, offering weekly Salsa and Bachata classes for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced dancers — across four nights a week. Classes teach Cross Body Style Salsa On 1 (LA Style), with Bachata also on the curriculum. No partner is needed, no fixed course dates, and beginners can start any week.

The school was founded and is led by Shahid, who began dancing in 2001 in London under world-class mentors before returning to Cardiff in 2006. Classes are held in pubs and clubs with bars and social space, so students can mingle and practice between and after sessions.

Salsa Buena has won Prestige Awards for Dance Classes of the Year, is Three Best Rated, has 20+ years of experience, and holds 300+ five-star reviews. The school also hosts large Latin party events featuring guest teachers from across the UK and beyond.
