Salsa Buena - Kapu Nightclub

Salsa Buena is Cardiff and Cowbridge's most-awarded Latin dance school, founded and led by Shahid, who began dancing in 2001 in London and launched Salsa Buena after returning to Cardiff in 2006.

With over 20 years of experience and more than 20,000 students taught, the school offers weekly pay-as-you-go Salsa and Bachata classes across four evenings — Monday in Rhiwbina, Tuesday and Thursday in Cardiff city centre, and Wednesday in Cowbridge.

Classes teach Cross Body Style Salsa On 1 (LA Style) and run in pub and club function rooms with a bar, giving students social time before and after dancing. All levels from complete beginner to advanced can attend the same evening at no extra cost. No partner or prior experience is needed; partner rotation is encouraged.

Salsa Buena also hosts large Latin dance events in and around Cardiff, offers private hire, and has won the Three Best Rated award and the Prestige Awards Dance Classes of the Year accolade. It holds a 4.8-star rating from over 300 Google reviews.
