Salsa Buena Rhiwbina Recreation

Salsa Buena is Cardiff and Cowbridge's most welcoming salsa school, offering weekly Salsa and Bachata dance classes for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced dancers.

Founded by Shahid, who began dancing in 2001 in London under world-class mentors before returning to Cardiff in 2006, the school runs classes four nights a week across multiple venues in Cardiff and Cowbridge. Classes teach Cross Body Style Salsa On 1 ('LA Style'), the world's most popular salsa style, alongside Bachata.

There are no fixed course dates — students can start any week and pay as they go. No partner is needed, as classes rotate partners and include social dancing time with a bar. Multiple levels and styles can be attended in one evening at no extra cost.

Salsa Buena has been rated Three Best Rated, won Dance Classes of the Year at the Prestige Awards, holds 300+ five-star reviews, and has over 20 years of experience with 20,000+ students. Monday classes are held at Rhiwbina Recreation Club from 7.30pm.
