Tango West is one of Bristol's longest-running Argentine Tango schools, established in 1998 and based at the Redland Club in Redland. Led by instructor Michele Tedder and DJ Andrew Oldroyd, the school offers weekly Wednesday classes for all levels — from Absolute Beginners (6:30–7:30pm) to Improvers/Intermediate (7:30–8:30pm) — followed by a practica.

The teaching focuses on movement technique, posture, balance, connection in the embrace, musicality, and floorcraft, drawing inspiration from the social dancing of the great Milongueros of Buenos Aires.

Tango West also hosts regular 'Esquina' Afternoon Milongas (2–6pm) on selected Sundays, featuring traditional tango music, a newly refurbished dance floor, and an afternoon cream tea. With over 45 combined years of experience and more than 450 milongas DJ'd, Michele and Andrew are dedicated to promoting traditional Argentine Tango in Bristol.
