The Ultimate Gym is a 4,000 sq ft martial arts centre in the Northern Extension Industrial Estate, Waterford, home to the Waterford Kickboxing Association, founded over 30 years ago by chief instructor Billy O Sullivan, a 6th dan black belt.

Classes cover kickboxing, Thai boxing, MMA, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing and self defence, with fitness and circuit training available on request. The gym has 15 punch bags, 3 free-standing towers, a 21ft international boxing ring, a fully matted area, cardio machines, weights, changing rooms and free parking.

Instructors have competitive backgrounds, and the club has produced world, European and Irish champions. Training is pay-as-you-go at 5 euro a class, with no membership fees or hidden costs.
