Turning Pointe School of Dance - Trinity Church Lewes

Turning Pointe School of Dance is a long-established dance school with over 60 years of history in the area, run by Principal Lianne Carter and Vice Principal Nisa Carter, who together bring over 40 years of teaching experience.

The school offers high-quality training in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Acro, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre for children aged 18 months up to 18 years, including teenage beginners. Classes are structured by age group: Tiny Turners (Pre-School, 18 months–4 years), Pre-Primary to Grade 2 (ages 4–9), Grades 3–8 (ages 9+), and Vocational classes (ages 11+).

The school prides itself on nurturing each student's individual talent and helping them reach their full potential, with a team of 15 teachers and support staff. It operates across multiple venues in Haywards Heath, Plumpton, Barcombe, and Lewes — including Trinity Church, St John Sub Castro in Lewes.
