YOGAfriendly Avonmouth Community

YOGAfriendly offers weekly yoga and meditation classes across Bristol and North Somerset, taught by Suzi Giffin, a certified British Wheel of Yoga instructor with 30 years of experience and a diploma from The Centre of Yoga Studies. The Monday evening class at Avonmouth Community Centre runs 18:00–19:15 and is open to beginners as well as those who have practised for a while.

Classes follow the Vini-Yoga tradition, combining breathing, slow dynamic movement and individual attention to suit all ages, fitness levels and health circumstances. Sessions typically include a warm-up, a sequence of standing, kneeling, lying, inverted, backbend and seated postures, and finish with relaxation. Mats, blocks and Swiss balls are provided.
