About Yoga

About Yoga is a yoga community in Norrmalm, Stockholm, run by the experienced teacher couple Sheila Arnell and Magnus Fridh. The studio offers weekly classes in Hathayoga, Yinyoga, Yoni-Shakti Yoga and Ashtanga, as well as breathwork and meditation. In addition to the in-person classes, there is a video library with guided sessions of varying length and style, suitable for home practice, along with recurring retreats and courses.

The atmosphere is characterised by a permissive presence and self-compassion rather than performance. Sheila has an academic background in yoga and has written about women's health; Magnus has practised yoga and meditation for 35 years and has deepened his knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism and mindfulness through university studies in Indology. Every Sunday, a free digital meditation class is also offered online.

Suitable for those seeking a calm, knowledge-based yoga practice with knowledgeable teachers — and who would like to combine in-person classes with online resources or more in-depth courses.
