BK Athen

BK Athén is a wrestling club founded in 1923, located at Bondegatan 10 in Södermalm, Stockholm, a few minutes' walk from Medborgarplatsen and Skanstull. The club offers training in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling for all ages and levels, with groups ranging from the very youngest (Stor&Liten for children born 2022–2023) through to the senior elite. Among the organised training groups are Knattegruppen, U9, U11/U13, U15/U17, a girls' group, Elitgruppen, Basic Wrestling, Submission Wrestling and Fredagsgruppen.

Training takes place on an instructor-led basis in a dedicated club facility with large and smaller mats. With over a hundred years behind it, BK Athén is one of Stockholm's most established wrestling clubs, and its activities span grassroots sport and youth training through to competitive elite level — all under one roof.

Suitable for those who want to start wrestling from scratch, have children who would like to try a martial art in an organised setting, or are an experienced wrestler looking for a serious training environment in Stockholm.
