Cirkus Cirkör

Cirkus Cirkör was founded in 1995 and has grown into the largest circus company in the Nordic region. The organisation is based at Cirkörhuset in Alby, Botkyrka — one of the best-equipped circus halls in northern Europe — but courses and programmes are also offered in Göteborg, Håbo and other locations around the country.

The range of courses covers all ages and experience levels. Children from the age of five can start with Cirkuslek, while young people and adults can explore new circus, aerial acrobatics, balance work and much more. Term courses, holiday courses and drop-in training provide flexible ways to take part regardless of ambition. For professional performers, separate training time in the circus hall is available through the partnership with Cirkuscentrum.

In addition to its educational programme, Cirkus Cirkör produces shows that tour in Sweden and internationally, runs a circus upper-secondary school and offers team-building and workshops for companies. The organisation also works on Social Circus projects in disadvantaged areas, including through Lights On Cirkus in Göteborg and a new initiative providing free circus training for children in Botkyrka's schools.
