Dansklubben Nackswinget

Dansklubben Nackswinget is a non-profit dance association founded in 1990, with premises in Nacka just outside Stockholm – only about ten minutes from Slussen. The association offers bugg courses at all levels, from beginners to advanced, as well as competitive dance and regular social dancing at its own club venue, Ceylon. Among the courses that appear regularly on the schedule are Bugg Beginners, Bugg Advanced Social and Bugg Morning, and course rounds run continuously throughout the term.

The association is run entirely by volunteers – the board, course instructors and officials are all unpaid – which gives it a genuinely grassroots character. For those interested in competition, there is dedicated competition training, a competition calendar and access to the Swedish Championships in dance. In addition to courses, tea dances and social dancing events are arranged regularly at the venue Ceylon.

Suitable for those who want to learn bugg from scratch, or who already dance and are looking for an active association with competitive ambitions and a social community centred around dancing.
