Movement

Movement is a movement studio in Östermalm, Stockholm, that focuses on exploring the body's full potential through functional training and calisthenics-based methods. The training combines strength, mobility, dance, martial arts, gymnastics and acrobatics in a format that encourages movement experimentation rather than isolated exercises.

In practice, this means crawling, climbing, hanging, balancing and moving up and down – classes vary in content and are described individually in the class descriptions. The atmosphere is relaxed but serious, with a focus on learning and exploration rather than performance.

What sets Movement apart is its approach to training as a form of play with movement complexity, where no prior experience is required. Suited to those who are curious about moving in new ways and want to develop coordination, strength and freedom of movement – regardless of training background.
