Orkanen Gym

Orkanen Gym is located in Stora Essingen in Stockholm and offers a well-equipped gym with a solid range of machines, personal training, and group training in the form of Bootcamp and PT-grupp. Bootcamp is held several times a week — Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:30, and Tuesday and Thursday at 19:15, with an extra session on Saturdays — and focuses on a high-intensity mix of strength and cardio. PT-grupp trains on weekdays at 17:30 and every other Saturday, following a rotating schedule across different muscle groups. In addition, the weight loss programme WeightTrainer is offered, a 12-week programme including coaching, nutrition and mental training.

The atmosphere is local and personal — the gym caters to the residents of Essingen and has a relaxed character, with comfortable seating in the entrance area, protein smoothies at the bar, and a sauna after training. Open 06:00–23:00 every day for members, with no permanent staffing. What sets Orkanen apart is the combination of carefully chosen equipment, a location close to a swimming spot, and a genuine local focus, with personal trainer Sussi Corell as founder and co-owner.

Suits you if you live or work on Essingen and want a flexible gym membership with the option of personal training or structured group classes without having to travel into the city centre.
