Saltsjöbadsbaletten

Saltsjöbadsbaletten is a non-profit dance association founded in 1957, located in Danshuset at Saltsjöbadens IP in Saltsjöbaden, Nacka. With roots going back to founder Jann Leijonhufvud, the association has grown to offer more than 30 classes per week for children and young people aged 4–15+ years.

The programme spans several dance styles and levels. The youngest children are introduced to movement and rhythm through children's dance, while older participants can choose from ballet, show jazz, and a broader range of courses through Danslinjen – a more structured programme for those who wish to develop further. During the summer, popular dance camps are held in the form of SummerCamp. No prior experience is required and the association welcomes dancers at all levels.

The organisation is built on a philosophy where joy and community are considered just as important as technical development. Registration is handled through SportAdmin and there is the option to attend a trial class before the term begins. The association is active on Instagram and also welcomes committed adults who would like to contribute as volunteers.
