SAND Dansskola

SAND Dansskola is a contemporary dance school located in Aspudden in Stockholm. The school offers classes for both children and adults, with a clear focus on body awareness, technique and creative expression. Teaching takes place in small groups of no more than 14 students, giving each participant personal attention and the opportunity to develop at their own pace.

The school operates across two studio premises in Hägersten, situated approximately five minutes apart from each other. Studio I is located at Hägerstensvägen 149 and Studio II at Schlytersvägen 31. The premises are only used during scheduled classes, and visits outside class hours are arranged by e-mail.

SAND's teaching approach is grounded in how the body actually functions and moves, rather than in a strict stylistic template. Enrolment takes place ahead of each term, with re-enrolment open to existing students. The school operates in both Swedish and English, reflecting an ambition to welcome a broad range of students in the neighbourhood.
