Southside Arena Thaiboxning

Southside Arena in Handen is a training centre focused on Thai boxing and functional training, located at Anläggarvägen 2 in southern Stockholm. The offering covers the full range from beginners to competitive athletes: Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 Thai Boxing build on one another and progressively introduce sparring and match preparation, while a separate Competition/Development Group is aimed at the most experienced practitioners. In addition, there is a children's group for 5–8-year-olds, a junior group for 9–13-year-olds, and The Box – a functional group circuit training that works well as a complement to striking training.

The atmosphere is club-like and team-oriented rather than an anonymous gym feel, with instructor-led sessions in smaller groups. Coaches Andreas Frössberg, Richard Häggström and Constanza Torres have extensive experience in the sport and are described as skilled teachers.
