Sweden Barbell Club

Sweden Barbell Club is an old-school powerlifting gym on Kungsholmen in Stockholm, located at Pontonjärgatan 31. The gym offers a wide range of free weights and what they themselves describe as world-class strongman equipment, complemented by handbuilt benches and racks manufactured to a high level of precision.

The timetable includes group training classes such as Strongman Intro – an instructor-led introduction to strongman open to everyone – as well as yoga classes with a mat. The atmosphere is thoroughly no-nonsense: a strong focus on training in a space equipped for serious lifting, with room for up to ten participants per booked session.

Instructor Isak F leads the strongman classes, and the website communicates partly in English, signalling an internationally welcoming approach.
