AMG Lifting Lab is a weightlifting club in Warrington, Cheshire, dedicated to the Olympic sport of weightlifting. Led by Head Coach Andy Griffiths — an active GB athlete and British Weightlifting regional talent coach — the club welcomes athletes of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to elite competitors.
With over 50 national medals across age categories and recognition as British Weightlifting Club of the Year 2021, AMG offers group coaching sessions, a youth academy, and personalised online coaching. The facility is equipped with IWF-approved competition bars and plates, and is part of the British Weightlifting national talent academy programme.
