ARC Fitness is an Addiction Recovery Coaching organisation based in Steelstown, Londonderry, offering a unique approach to addressing substance use through physical activity, professional support, education, and community.
Founded by Gary Rutherford — a Registered Mental Health Nurse and Personal Trainer with over 11 years in recovery — ARC supports individuals with substance use disorders on their road to recovery through 8-week recovery programmes, walking groups, family support programmes, corporate services, and school/university workshops.
ARC also reaches out to families and carers affected by addiction, providing dedicated programmes to reduce isolation and stigma.
