Ashtanga Yoga Limerick

Ashtanga Yoga Limerick is a small yoga studio in Limerick founded in 2013 by Christine McNally, who has studied yoga in India four times and trained in Yin, Restorative, Kids' Yoga, Aerial, AcroYoga and Rocket Yoga.

Classes follow the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa method, with a set sequence of postures linked by breath, Ujjayi breathing and bandhas, practised in a mixed-level environment where each student progresses at their own pace. A weekly Rocket Yoga class adds a dynamic, playful style with arm balances and inversions, suited to students with some yoga or fitness experience.

Classes run on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6pm to 7.30pm at The People's Museum, with occasional events such as yoga at the Milk Market. Students describe a supportive, safe and unfussy teaching style.
