BwD Leisure Blackburn (Blackburn Sports and Leisure Centre) is a large public leisure facility offering an extensive health and fitness programme with affordable memberships.
Facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool, a learner pool with a moveable floor, two flumes, a children's water play zone, an 80-station fitness suite, a dance/aerobics studio with a sprung floor, a dedicated Spinning studio, sauna and steam rooms, and two four-court sports halls. Over 50 fitness classes are offered per week.
Discounted RE:FRESH sessions are available for eligible Blackburn with Darwen residents, and disabled access provisions include pool hoists, accessible changing rooms and a lift between floors.
