Charleston a Go-Go is Sheffield's joyful vintage dance school offering weekly classes and workshops inspired by the fabulous flappers of the 1920s through to the shimmy-shaking go-go dancers of the 1960s. Solo Charleston classes let you kick up your heels and learn iconic Jazz Age steps like the Black Bottom and the Bee's Knees, while the Sixties a Go-Go!

sessions bring high-energy authentic 60s dance crazes — twisting, ponying and jerking to feel-good music. Founded by Caroline (a performing arts teacher with over 26 years' experience), the classes are fun, inclusive and require no previous dance experience. Every course includes weekly on-demand online tutorials so you can practice any time.

Classes run across four Sheffield venues on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
