Chimera Climbing Canterbury is a dedicated indoor bouldering centre located in Wincheap, Canterbury, just a ten-minute walk from Canterbury East train station. Designed and run by local Kent climbers who grew up climbing on the region's sandstone, the centre offers an exhilarating rope-free bouldering experience for everyone from complete beginners to seasoned pros.
With lower walls and safety matting throughout, no harness or partner is needed, making it the most accessible form of climbing. The gym offers adult sessions and classes, kids sessions, lessons and clubs, birthday parties, school visits, competitions, and social events such as Women's Socials and Friday Night Socials.
A qualified coaching team provides taster sessions, private lessons, and block courses for all levels.
