CrossFit Uckfield (operating as The Paleo Gym) is a community-driven CrossFit box established in 2015, delivering one classic coached CrossFit workout per day using a constantly varied programme that combines traditional cardio, gymnastics and weightlifting.

The gym prides itself on being safe, non-judgmental and inclusive — welcoming everyone from competitive athletes to grandparents, adaptive athletes and those with special educational needs. Classes are scaled and modified for all abilities, including adapted versions for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

A Level 1 Battle Cancer coach is on staff to support those recovering from cancer, and personalised nutrition support is available through a MetFix affiliation. Specialist programmes include Olympic Weightlifting, Junior Heroes, Teens CrossFit, and Third Age CrossFit. Drop-in sessions and quiet classes (low-sensory, smaller group) are also offered.
