Essex Pole and Tone is an award-winning pole fitness and aerial performing arts academy in Romford, Essex, founded in 2008 by Susan Hastings. Named Aerial Dance School of the Year 2024–2026, the studio offers pole fitness, aerial silks, aerial hoop, heels, flexibility, conditioning, chair acro and children's classes.
The main hall features 11 fixed X-Poles, aerial hoops, silks, flying pole and an X-Stage. Classes run six days a week at all levels, from complete beginner to advanced competitor, with a strong emphasis on body positivity, community and structured progression. Free open training is included with monthly memberships.
