Galway City Gym is a member-owned, not-for-profit community gym on the Tuam Road in Galway, founded in 1986 and run by an elected committee of members. It offers free weights and dumbbells, a weight room, cardio machines and a studio space, with free parking on site. Experienced personal trainers are available on-site, and there is a weekly Monday-morning boxercise class.

Non-members can use day passes, and memberships range from weekly direct debit to upfront plans with no freezing and simple cancellation. The gym also runs a Personal Training Apprenticeship and a Kickstarter programme. Open seven days a week, with all surplus funds reinvested into the club.
