Galway City School of Judo is a welcoming community judo club in Galway for people of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced judokas. Classes cover throws, groundwork and self-defence, with a focus on technique, discipline and physical fitness.

Whether you want to get fitter, compete or simply have fun, the club offers a supportive environment for kids and adults alike. Lead coach Chris Hickey is a Rokudan (6th Dan) black belt, an Irish Sports Council qualified tutor, an Irish Judo Association Level 2 coach and an International Judo Federation A Licence Olympic referee.
