Founded in 1923, Globe Rowing Club is one of London's most welcoming and ambitious rowing communities, based at two iconic locations: Greenwich on the historic Thames and Royal Albert Dock in partnership with London Youth Rowing.
The club welcomes all genders and skill levels across Senior Development, Recreational, Competition, and Performance squads, as well as a thriving Junior programme. Complete beginners can join through regular Learn to Row courses, while experienced rowers are invited to join directly.
Globe boasts a strong competitive record — including a Club Coxless Four title at the British Rowing Championships in 2025 and appearances at Henley Women's and Henley Royal Regatta — alongside a lively social calendar that makes the club as much about community as it is about sport.
