Founded in 1928, Physical Culture is London's oldest premier strength training and powerlifting gym, located in the heart of Putney. For nearly a century it has provided specialist strength and powerlifting equipment, personal training, and weekly group classes in a welcoming, inclusive environment open to all experience levels.
The gym is a British Powerlifting Approved Club, equipped with IPF-certified Eleiko and Rogue Fitness gear, and holds a proud legacy including legendary strongman George Hackenschmidt as a former Vice President.
