Gripper Jiu Jitsu is the premier Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling academy in Goole, East Yorkshire, serving Doncaster, Scunthorpe and Selby. Founded and led by elite BJJ black belt Lloyd 'The Yorkshire Gripper' Cooper, the academy offers classes for all levels — from kids and complete beginners to advanced competitors.
The 8-week Beginner Programme is designed for Day 1 students with no experience required. Classes include Beginner Gi/No-Gi BJJ, Kids Martial Arts (Little Grippers), Wrestling, Advanced Grappling, and Open Mat sessions. The academy prides itself on a zero-ego, brotherhood environment with world-class coaching and a strong community culture.
