Gymophobics Hessle is a ladies-only health and fitness centre that opened in March 2016, owned by Cheryl and Tony. The centre uses Gymophobics' trademarked Resisted Tension (RT) programme — a unique approach combining isometric muscle contractions with resistance machines, with no treadmills, weights or mirrors.
Coaches provide personalised support throughout every session in a warm, non-intimidating environment, helping women of all ages improve their fitness, lose weight, boost mental health and enhance mobility. Digital classes filmed by founder Donna Hubbard are also available as a complement to gym sessions.
