Gymophobics Cannock is a ladies-only health and fitness centre that opened in November 2014, owned by Adele and Laura. The centre uses Gymophobics' trademarked Resisted Tension (RT) programme — a unique combination of isometric muscle contractions and resistance exercise performed on specialist machines.
There are no treadmills, weights or mirrors; instead, qualified instructors accompany members throughout every session, offering personalised programmes and encouragement in a supportive, non-intimidating environment. Digital classes filmed by founder Donna Hubbard are also available on-screen, ranging from 5-minute blasts to 30-minute sessions.
New members are welcome to book a free guest visit to see the gym and ask questions before joining.
