Gymophobics Pitsea

Gymophobics Basildon (Pitsea) is a ladies-only health and fitness centre that has been welcoming women of all ages since May 2015.

The franchise, owned by Sam, is built around Gymophobics' trademarked Resisted Tension (RT) programme — a unique combination of isometric muscle contractions and resistance exercise performed on purpose-built machines with no treadmills, weights or mirrors.

Qualified instructors are present throughout every pre-booked session, offering personalised guidance, support and encouragement in a warm, non-intimidating environment. The centre also offers digital classes — filmed sessions ranging from 5-minute blasts to 30-minute workouts — available to members after their gym session.
