Gymophobics Telford is a ladies-only gym and wellness community located in the heart of Wellington, Telford. Open since November 2010, the centre is owned by Sarah and welcomes women of all ages — from teens to seventy-plus. The gym is built around Gymophobics' trademarked Resisted Tension (RT) programme, which combines resistance machines with isometric muscle contractions.
There are no treadmills, weights or mirrors — instead, members receive personalised guidance from qualified instructors throughout every visit. The supportive, non-intimidating environment is designed to help women lose weight, boost mental health, improve mobility and feel better overall.
Digital classes filmed by founder Donna Hubbard are also available in-centre, ranging from quick 5-minute blasts to sessions of 30 minutes or more.
