Gymophobics Wigston is a ladies-only gym and wellness community based in Wigston, Leicester. Owned by Neil and Sara, the centre uses Gymophobics' trademarked Resisted Tension (RT) programme — a unique combination of isometric muscle contractions and resistance exercise performed on specialist machines, with no treadmills, weights or mirrors.
Qualified instructors are present throughout every session to offer personalised guidance and encouragement in a warm, non-intimidating environment. Members can also enjoy digital classes filmed by founder Donna Hubbard, ranging from quick 5-minute blasts to 30-minute sessions. New visitors are welcome to book a free guest visit to try the gym before committing.
