Heart of Portsmouth Boxing Academy (HOP) is a boxing gym based at the Omega Centre in Southsea, Portsmouth, founded in September 2008. The academy welcomes people of all genders, abilities, ages and fitness levels, offering sessions for Minnows (5–9 yrs), Juniors, Seniors, ladies, university teams and fitness classes.
HOP works closely with local organisations including the City Council, Youth Justice System, NHS and Children in Need to engage and support youth in the community. The gym also operates as the home of Boxing Awards, a nationwide programme offering boxing tutor and coaching courses across the UK.
