Hurricanes Cheerleading is a community cheerleading club founded in 2015 by Head Coach Lyndsey Broadhurst. Based at their own gym, The Epi-Centre, the club offers classes for boys and girls aged 3 and upwards — no previous experience in cheerleading, gymnastics or dance required.
Teams range from mini recreational cheer for toddlers to competitive senior squads, with sessions including recreational cheer, competitive dance, stunting, and masters cheer for adults 18+. Hurricanes pride themselves on inclusivity, keeping class prices low and partnering with Access Sport to remove barriers for disadvantaged and disabled young people.
