Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance is Cork's longest-running dance school, offering training in ballet, modern/jazz, tap, acro dance, drama and musical theatre, plus a performance class. Classes start from age two and include adult ballet, and a dedicated special needs class for ages 5+ runs on Thursday afternoons.

The school aims for excellent, individually tailored training in a creative, supportive environment, never judging students by body type or physical capability. Students perform in several theatrical productions each year and take part in community events such as the Dragon of Shandon, Culture Night and the St Patrick's Day parades in Cork and San Francisco.

Classes run at The Studio on Lower John Street in Cork City, with further studios in Ballincollig, Riverstown (Glanmire) and Wilton/Bishopstown.
