Junior Jitsu is a family-run martial arts club based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, specialising in teaching Jiu Jitsu and self-defence to children aged 5 to 12. Led by chief instructor Sensei Ruth Walker (5th Dan black belt, 26+ years experience), the club focuses on fun, confidence, discipline and practical self-defence skills.
Classes are held on Saturdays at Lakeside Methodist Centre in Newmillerdam. There are no membership or joining fees — you simply pay per session. The first lesson is free, and new starters receive 4 weeks of free insurance.
