Inspired by the 1970 Edinburgh Commonwealth Games, Meadowbank Gymnastics Club was formally established by Head Coach Maggie Bisset and was the first club to offer gymnastics at all levels of ability for both boys and girls across the wider Lothians.
Now based in a fully equipped dedicated facility on Mayfield Industrial Estate near Dalkeith, the club delivers pre-school, recreational, and competitive gymnastics classes in a safe, fun and friendly environment. Over the years the club has produced many East of Scotland and Scottish Champions, and has had gymnasts represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Games.
