North Manchester Fitness Communication Academy

North Manchester Fitness is a not-for-profit, community fitness group based in North Manchester, welcoming people of all ages and abilities. Founded in 2011 by Donna Young, the group has grown to over 250 members and runs sessions every day of the week.

Classes include pilates, yoga, Zumba, boxercise, circuits, HIIT, Hiitstep, running, Nordic walking, sprints and gentle/over-50s exercise — all at just £2 per session with no membership fees. Qualified, award-winning coaches tailor sessions to individual goals and make every session fun, varied and inclusive.

The group also enters organised events such as the Manchester 10k, Tough Mudder, Race for Life and marathon events, and regularly donates to local and national charities. Sessions are held across multiple local venues including Blackley, Prestwich and Heaton Park.
