SO8 (Science of Eight) is Cornwall's longest established Muay Thai gym, founded in 1992 and based behind Falmouth Sports Club on Western Terrace. The gym offers weekly classes for ages 6 to 60+, from complete beginners through to champion fighters. Classes include Muay Thai, Beginners Muay Thai, SO8 Pad Blast, SO8 Thai HIIT, and SO8 Pad & Bag Strike.

Muay Thai — the ancient fighting system of Thailand — trains hands, elbows, knees, and feet/legs, offering superb fitness, flexibility, and confidence building. The gym also provides private and small group training as well as self-protection courses.
