Southend Amateur Boxing Club is one of England's oldest boxing clubs, established in 1913 and steeped in a proud tradition of producing national champions. Based at a temporary gym at 8 Grainger Road, Prittlewell, Southend-on-Sea, the club offers structured sessions for junior beginners, junior competitive boxers, and seniors.
All coaches are England Boxing trained and certified, DBS checked, and qualified in first aid. With a heritage stretching back over a century — including legendary figures such as Eugene Corri and Pat O'Keefe — the club combines history with modern, professional coaching to develop strength, speed, agility, stamina, and discipline in every member.
