Stonesthrow Sauna is a mobile, wood-fired sauna experience on the Isle of Arran, operating primarily at Whiting Bay beach and occasionally at Lamlash and Kildonan. Handcrafted by Scandinavian Sauna, the barrel sauna travels between coastal sites guided by the tides.
Sessions offer a wild, outdoor sauna experience with the option of a cold dip in the sea — no shelter or changing facilities, just nature. Run by Andrew and Amy as a family business, Stonesthrow brings the health, wellbeing, and social richness of sauna culture to Arran all year round.
