Climbing Commons is a community-owned bouldering wall based inside Brimscombe Mill in Stroud. Running on a commons model — governed and owned by its members — every pound stays in the community.
With a sliding-scale membership, affordable pay-as-you-go sessions, free shoe rental for under-16s, and a welcoming volunteer-run environment, it's designed to make climbing genuinely accessible to everyone: beginners, families, solo adults and regular climbers alike. It is believed to be the first commons bouldering wall in the world.
