Studio One Pilates & Movement operates from a beautifully reinvented 1930s warehouse in Forest Hill — a light-filled space shared with Fitbirds Fitness.

The studio offers tailored Equipment Pilates sessions designed to support a wide range of needs, including musculoskeletal issues and injuries, pre- and post-natal care, postural alignment, back pain, and general body conditioning. Classes range from private introductory sessions and semi-private small-group equipment classes to duo (2:2:1) sessions.

Founded by Iovana Velasquez after eight years directing Body Alliance in Brixton, the studio brings together over 25 years of movement experience, PILATES Foundation® UK comprehensive teacher training, and a multidisciplinary approach drawing on dance, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, and somatic practice.

The ethos is personal, precise, and grounded in mindful movement that restores balance, strength, and wellbeing.
