The Ballet Barn

The Ballet Barn is Aedeen O'Hagan's purpose-built ballet school in Kilmeany, Co. Carlow, offering classical ballet, modern theatre dance and contemporary training six days a week.

Students can work through the full Royal Academy of Dance ballet syllabus, from Pre-Primary and graded levels up to Pre-Vocational, Intermediate and Advanced, alongside ISTD Modern Theatre Dance grades and ISTD and Rambert Contemporary programmes.

Ballet starts from age 3½ with Tippy Toes and parent-and-toddler sessions, modern from age 6, and there are adult ballet and stretching classes too. With a main and a small studio, examinations and medal awards, and a biennial stage show at the GB Shaw Theatre in Visual Carlow, the school has been shaping dancers for over thirty years.
