Horwich House of Strength (HHOS) is a specialist strength gym in Horwich, Bolton, named after the ancient Persian 'House of Strength' — the Zurkhaneh — honouring coach Lou's Iranian heritage.

The gym is fully equipped with Strongman and Powerlifting kit and offers personal training, strength & conditioning group classes, and 24-hour open gym access for all levels, from complete beginners to competitive athletes.

Head coach Lou brings over 8 years of coaching experience, a Biology degree, and a no-nonsense 'Logical Lifting' philosophy that cuts through fitness myths. With small class sizes, tailored programming, and a welcoming no-ego community, HHOS is built around strength, confidence, and resilience.
