The Legion Strength and Fitness is the UK's only adaptive strongman facility, based in Belmont, Durham. The gym caters for both able-bodied and disabled clients, offering a wide range of specialist equipment alongside adaptive, strongman, kids' strongman, and strength & conditioning training.
Home to Rebecca Thomson — the World's Strongest Disabled Woman and multiple world record holder — the facility also features a fully accessible recovery suite with ice bath and sauna. The Legion is committed to inclusivity: free sessions are available every Sunday for those struggling with the cost of living, and discounts are offered to veterans and blue light card holders.
